Shooting in Prague
This fall we were happy to embark on the final shoot for our upcoming feature doc, Defiant Requiem. Keep an eye out for updates in the coming months as we finish what is shaping up to be a very personal and powerful film.
That’s a wrap!
Three weeks and 63 amazing meals later…that’s a wrap. All in all the shoot was a great success, and a lot like India itself…unpredictable, amazing, frustrating, messy, fantastic and unforgettable. And now…it’s time to seek out those ayurvedic massages we’ve heard so much about.
Day 6 and we’re nearly there. We’re one car bomb explosion and a Karachi street battle away from being finished. Where’s my coconut chutney?
This sums it up
This is pretty much how we’re feeling right now…
SCUBA team NYC
September 19th, 2010
The East River
Today, we’re filming with the NYPD’s SCUBA team as part of Counterterror NYC. It’s several days before opening debate at the United Nations General Assembly, and the SCUBA team is sweeping the UN headquarters seawall. As you might expect, visibility in the East River is almost non-existent, divers can see on average about two feet in front of them. Two officers will literally feel their way across the seawall, using sophisticated sonar equipment to help identify bombs or any other threats that might be lurking in the water.
11/24/10 Hyderabad, India
It’s the last day of shooting in India for CIA Confidential, and our crew is enthusiastically destroying the set to transform a CIA outpost into the scene of a suicide bomb blast. Nothing like the scent of burning tires to wake you up in the morning… –WK
Day 1…riot in the village
Day 1 — Rural village two hours outside of town. Weather not cooperative…a few casting issues…intoxicated and angry villagers…this is going to be interesting.
Happy New Year
What a way to spend New Year’s Eve…on a rooftop with counter-snipers overlooking times square…
